This Poem by Walter Rinder can in my lifetime as a writer be credited for pushing me into my writing passion. My writing life cannot be complete without reference being made to this magnificent piece of art…
A poetic description of how one moves from a painful situation to the light at the end of the tunnel.
A look into how different people react when they lose something…It is like they have been Exiled from what they enjoyed.
You know how it is when you are at a single sex school. Most discussions centre around those of the opposite sex. This poem was inspired by one such discussion in the hostels at Bernard Mizeki College. Shout out to you my housemates hope you all found the answer to “What Makes A Lady?”
Believe it or not…This Poem was written when l had gone out with friends and l was so drunk. l still do not know how this poem survived the night.
This poem took me places. It was a poem l wrote for an entry into the IntrAfrika Poetry Competition under the Theme “l Have A Dream…” hosted by the Zimbabwe German Society. It scooped First Prize. No better way to immortalise it than putting it online. To the conservationists out there, this a toast to your efforts.
A little paragraph to see if l still have it in me if l decide to write a romantic novel some day in future…
